Nominations are now open for the Lawrence "Larry" Ritz Rotarian of the Year Award.
 
Lawrence “Larry” Ritz was one of the longest serving members on the Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls, serving from 1964 – 2017.
 
Larry was a distinguished South Dakotan, patriot, philanthropist, prominent businessman and tireless community volunteer who was widely respected for his integrity, decency, humility and as a servant leader. His dedication, outstanding leadership and tremendous motivation showed in the numerous imprints the left on Sioux Falls, South Dakota and around the world.
 
Who should be Nominated:
• Member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls in good standing
• Served a minimum of 2 years in the club
• Emanates integrity, decency, humility
• A servant leader
• Guides with dedication, outstanding leadership and tremendous motivation

Nomination & Award Process:
• Complete the online Nomination Form including nominator and seconder by Friday, May 15th, or send a short nomination video via text to Angie at 605-743-0927
• Wednesday, May 20 - all completed nominations will be sent to membership for vote
• Sunday, May 31 - Voting closes

Awarded: Each year the Lawrence “Larry” Ritz “Rotarian of the Year” award will be presented at the last Monday meeting in June during the Year in Review Club Meeting.
