Advancing Care for Women & Children

Join us for an engaging session on women’s and children’s health and the inspiring story behind Avera’s largest building project dedicated to advancing care in this vital area. Learn about the latest in women’s and children’s care that shaped this vision, and explore the innovative approaches being used to address the unique challenges of providing health services across a rural landscape. Discover how this project is redefining access and delivering specialized care to meet the needs of women and children in our community. Rotarian Lindsey Meyers will lead a conversation with Dr. Ron Place: Regional President and CEO of Avera McKennan, Dr. Kathy Wang: Avera Neonatologist and Clinical Vice President for the Women’s and Children’s Service Line; and Dr. Annie Siewert: Avera OBGYN and Women’s Health Steering Committee Medical Director.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The

menu will be: Shepard's pie with gravy and steamed cabbage, cornbread and salad bar.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon.
