Weekly Meeting
AI Medical Research in South Dakota
Join Rotarian Joni Ekstrum as she moderates an esteemed panel of local scientists. The panel features Rotarian Dr. Bill Harris, founder of OmegaQuant Analytics; Dr. Nathan Tintle, a biostatistician; and Dr. KC Santosh, an AI expert and Chair of the USD Department of Computer Science. Together, they will discuss the current and future impacts of Artificial Intelligence on medical research.
The buffet lunch will be available for purchase at the door beginning at 11:30 am. The
menu will be: Baked chicken quarters with green beans and diced potatoes and macaroni and cheese with salad bar.
The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
