City of Hustle

On Monday April 28th, we'll kick off a Sioux Falls: Past, Present, Future series by examining the city's rich history. Beth Jensen will join Rotarians Tom Dempster and Doug Hajek to discuss the essays found in "City of Hustle". Published in 2022, the book offers an inside look at the city through the eyes of both longtime residents and recent transplants. Stories recount the city's past, but also share the ways the city's savvy planning and entrepreneurial gumption have helped it navigate twenty-first-century challenges.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Meatloaf with scalloped or mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese and salad bar.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
