December 9

Weekly Meeting

Quarterly Quick Hits

On Monday, December 9th we'll host a new program for Downtown Rotary called Quarterly Quick Hits. Once per quarter, we'll have a slate of quick-hitting topics.

First, join us for a fast-paced panel discussion with local leaders in recycling and sustainability from SEAM, Millennium Recycling, and the Sioux Falls Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Discover how these organizations are transforming waste management, protecting our environment, and helping businesses and residents reduce their environmental footprint. Moderated by Rotarian Brienne Maner, join the conversation to learn practical steps you can take to contribute to a greener Sioux Falls!

Then, Wendy Fransen, Rotary International Convention Promotion Chair for District 5610, will share more details regarding the Rotary International convention which will be held in Calgary, Canada in June 2025. Wendy has attended 25 conventions in cities all over the world and you'll leave excited to join Rotarians from around the world at this annual gathering.

The buffet lunch will be available for purchase at the door beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Scalloped potatoes and ham, green bean casserole, dinner bun and salad bar.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
