The Economy, Revisited

There was so much left to examine after our recent program, that we are hosting another discussion regarding the economy and tariffs. Rotarian Jason Herrboldt will moderate a conversation with Joe Santos, Director the Ness School of Management and Economics at South Dakota State University; Scott Sletten, President & CEO of JDS Industries; and Rotarian Jesse Fonkert, who was recently named the new CEO of South Dakota Trade. They will discuss the current state of the economy and the impact a variety of factors such as tariffs could have on the economic outlook.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Lasagna or fried fish, vegetable, garlic toast and salad bar.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
