Membership Qualifications

(New members must meet at least one qualification.)

  • Is engaged as a proprietor, partner, corporate officer or manager of any worthy, recognized business, profession or community service organization.
  • Holds a position of responsibility in an executive capacity with discretionary authority (supervisory, hiring or budgetary) in any worthy recognized business, profession or community service organization.
  • Performs as the primary local agent or branch representative of any worthy, recognized business, profession, or community service organization.
  • Is considered a thought leader in our community; Is clearly working to make a lasting impact in our community.

Steps for Membership


Scholarships Now Available

Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club has launched a scholarship program for new members. The goal of the program is to identify up to five new Rotarians each year who are thought leaders, with a focus on underrepresented communities, who can bring positive contributions to Downtown Rotary but find the full cost of the annual membership a barrier to entry.

  • Applications will be accepted on an annual basis through June 1st.
  • Scholarships will be awarded in June each year.
  • Applicants still must meet the criteria for membership and submit a standard application for membership along with the scholarship application.
