Tell us a little bit about yourself (hometown, family, hobbies, fun facts)
I grew up in north central South Dakota along the shores of Lake Oahe in Mobridge. My wife Kelsey and daughter Astrid live in Hartford where we are active members of the community. In our free time, we enjoy exploring our great state and travelling across the country. I’ve managed to visit 48 states and will be crossing off Alaska in June which just leaves Hawaii on the list.
Why did you join Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls?
I joined Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls for several reasons. First I wanted to become affiliated with an organization that is working to end polio (my mother is a survivor). Second, I wanted to learn from the great speakers on Monday. Third, I joined because of the great networking opportunities.
How has joining Rotary helped you develop/grow in your career? (OR if you are a new member, what are you looking forward to most?)
Downtown Rotary has helped me grow in my career by giving me access to the greatest speakers and leaders in our state. By being equipped with the knowledge shared at Rotary, I have become a better leader and advisor.
What would you tell someone that is considering joining Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls?
